Brilliant British bloke creates app which blocks all Kim Kardashian news: this week in social media

Happy Friday everyone!

If you haven’t heard my podcast, Social Media Unscrambled, you might want to. We dissect social media, show you how it works and have lots of fun as well.  Here’s Episode 78; have a listen and a laugh.

This might be the best idea ever: a British bloke created an app which filters out all Kim Kardashian news from your news feed. Why didn’t I think of that?

This is disturbing, especially for parents: there are apps which allow people, including and especially children, to store and cleverly hide content they want to save on their smartphones. This is why a lot of content avoids parental detection. Parents, you should be aware of these things, but don’t feel bad: I have never heard of these either.

Here’s something else I’ve never heard of: the Secret Sister Exchange. Apparently this is a scam where, if you give a gift, you will get a whole bunch of other gifts in return. Don’t fall for it folks.

Also, there are lots of features in popular social media applications like Facebook and Twitter which are hidden. Have a look at some of these hidden gems to help grow your business.

Finally, one of my favorite things in the world is watching news bloopers. This one, featuring reporter and a pig, is among my favorites. Just hilarious.

Have a great weekend!
